 Santas Drill Team will perform in a quasi-military formation, our unique“Salute to the Armed Forces” followed by out adaptation of Red Skelton’s Explanation to the Words of the Pledge of Allegiance at the opening ceremony of the event, expected to be attended by 400 Santas and Mrs Claus.

Santas Drill Team will again appear on stage as the Honor Guard for the Santa Claus Oath during a performance to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the first public unveiling of the historic document.

Santas Drill Team will also entertain the attendees during the Talent show with Candy Cane Drills and a surprise appearance by Special Operations SLEIGH TEAM SIX The Santa Claus Drill Team is expected to be the leading unit in the parade on Saturday.

 Members of Santa’s Drill Team will be helping HONOR FLIGHT WCF by manning a Beverage Booth to Increase public awareness and as a fund raiser.

 We have been invited by Drill Team member Harry Provan to attend the Stand Down as Volunteers. More information to follow. Plan to set up one of our tent thank all the veterans for their service, pass out Stars, wristbands, photos, goodwill.

HONOR FLIGHT WCF VETERANS FLIGHT ORIENTATION

Santas Drill Team will present our Salute to the Armed Forces to the 80 Veterans attending the pre-flight orientation for their trip to Washington DC. 80 Guardians will also participate in the pre-flight orientation as each Veteran has a personal Guardian assigned for the trip. Each of the Veterans flight to Washington  will be 100% paid for by WCF Honor Flight.

HONOR FLIGHT WCF WELCOME HOME CELEBRATION

ST PETERSBURG/CLEARWATER AIRPORT

The public is welcome to join all the Honor Flight volunteers as we  create a patriotic Welcome Home, creating a corridor of flag waving supporters as our Veterans return from Washington. Shortly before their plane lands, the Veterans have been treated to a surprise Mail-Call, now when they step off that plane they are surprised with a huge Welcome Home parade. Come show and share your patriotism.

MEMORIAL DAY PARADE

DOWNTOWN SANFORD FLORIDA

 Santas Drill Team is extremely proud to march in this “Day of Remembrance” parade. Attended by tens of thousands this parade is one of the very few and one of the very best in the State of Florida. Following the parade come and watch the Remembrance Ceremony in the local Veterans Park.

 The 2019 parade we will celebrate our NINTH year of participation in this patriotic parade in this very patriotic, typical small town America. Thousands attend this parade each year. We hope many of you will attend and join us after the parade at the:

HOSTED BY THE SANTA CLAUS DRILL TEAM AND AMERICAN LEGION POST 238

 Come join us immediately after the parade, free snow cones, cookies, juice and water. Entertainment by Mid-life Crisis Band. The Santa Claus Drill Team will present several patriotic short programs. Speakers include the Mayor with the City’s proclamation, American Legion Post #238 along with the American Legion State Commander and other State officers. Parade and Ceremony usually conclude by 12:30 pm.
